Welcome to the BARIATRIC MEDICINE CENTER. It is our desire to make this experience a very pleasant, positive, and successful one for you.
In 1958, we first began working with the problem of obesity - planning a program to help our patients lose weight quickly and safely. Over the years, there have been many improvements and innovations. We've been helped and guided by these, but more importantly, by the feedback from thousands of overweight patients with whom we've dealt. This extensive experience has led us to the conclusion that permanent success can only be achieved through a COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM.
Today marks a milestone in your life!! You have just followed through on one of the most important decisions you will ever make - the decision to achieve and maintain your proper, healthy body weight.
This decision may well have been motivated by a wounded ego. Perhaps you feel you are not as attractive as you used to be, or as you would like to be. Maybe it was motivated by necessity. Are your clothes getting too small? Can you not tie your shoe laces - or move around - easily? Perhaps your decision was motivated by the most important factor of all, the need and desire for good health.
