Amino Acid Program
When using supplemental amino acids (tyrosine, leucine and arginine), many people state that they feel better and have a higher energy level. The same food list is used as with the Charleston Program.


Appetite Suppressants are also used as needed.

The rationale for using amino acids in a weightloss program is as follows:
  1. Certain ones actually decrease the craving for sugar and chocolate.
  2. Others decrease the carbohydrate craving.
  3. Also, some increase alertness and will suppress the appetite.
  4. Some of them contribute to muscle building.
  5. And others increase the release of growth hormones.
